A KISS of flame

A kiss

A flame

A wild woman to tame

burn and brazen my skin

your searing fingers brand my hips

stifle a gasp of pleasure

and crystalise my honey lips

A kiss

A flame

A wild woman we’ll maim

curse my naive sweetness

with your greedy, glutenous pash

I dare you to purge my heart

and render me amber and ash

A kiss

A flame

A wild woman cries out in pain

but you throw me up

mucky and sickly sweet

a pleading lamb of red and white

with one last desperate bleat

A kiss

A flame

That wild woman has a name

you miss the warmness in my eyes

took the innocence from my smile

your mouth reeks of my flesh

I’ve been gone for a while

A kiss

A flame

The woman now tame

A kiss

A flame

it’ll be her they blame

A kiss

A flame

and she’ll carry all our shame
