This Blessed and Accursed Revelation:

the true incarnation of God—

The Spirit, the Devil, the Abyss conjoined

spinning in perfect synchronisation, above where

lush lands rushing rivers beechen greens

collapsed to reveal their true forms.

A white coast crumbled

into the waves of Oblivion.

Here, I saw God—

an immense statue with three heads

surging into the grey sky.

Left was the Spirit face,

thrumming and humming with

rays of a thousand suns,

gold-spun colours revealed

and unrevealed to the eye.

Right was the Devil,

rotting and cracking face

rumbling with the fires and

pestilence of the world.

Middle was the dark mass of

the cosmos—

an infinity of stars—

fires burning in

endless space

Three pairs of smiling wily lips

unmoving unspeaking,

eyes unblinking,

and the world was a hush except

the rushing of waves

constant flowing ticking clock

the dark fires flicking and sizzling

stars and supernovae fizzing

God-Statue indifferent to my existence

looking on with marble eyes—

A voice spoke from not God-Statue's many lips,

but all the elements on their being

and every corner of limbo.

Fires stars waters sunlight whispering. I heard

and parsed these strange words:

“The end of one world is not the true end.

The gateway to Heaven is through the toils of purgatory.

I am all the stones of the world.

I am the mountain, and the boulder

that you must roll up that mountain.

I am the mud underfoot,

the lotus that took root and bloomed in that mud.

I am the death that befalls the lotus;

the sparkling glass that

holds the water and cuts through flesh,

made from mountains

milled and battered into sand;

The blade, fired and hammered.

I am the fire and the hammer.

I am the blade glinting in your hand.

The human, my amalgamation

of coarse soil and the deaths

of many species before them.

The universe, born from the collapse

of a singularity; and my religion

born from my blood and my death.

The galaxies and supernovae are

all but clusters of bursting bruises.

The world is my reflection.

I have made the tiger and the lamb.

In the heart of it all

the Spirit, the Devil, the Abyss

shall swirl on and on in perfect synchronisation.
