You may have heard us talking about the Ramsay Centre for Western Civilisation and its potential scholarship with the Faculty of Arts.

The TL;DR is that the Ramsay Centre is known for promoting Western culture and tradition over others, and for advancing other racially controversial views.

Whilst the Academic Board originally voted against the scholarship proposal in July, the University is bringing it to the Academic Board...AGAIN.

Let’s show the University that we’re taking a firm stance AGAINST racism. And that includes rejecting any potentially racist organisations from having an influence on our campus.

We’re holding a rally outside of the next Academic Board meeting to show the University how the students feel! Come and join us!

📆 Date: Thu 10 Sept, 1pm

📍 Location: Cussonia Court (near Arts West)

👕 Dress Code: Come as you are – but if you have construction gear like hard hats or hi-vis, bring it!

Looking forward to constructing an anti-racist environment together!
