FAMAS Fandom Yap is a casual night of 15-minute talks about fandom, fanworks and media, from proper analysis to extremely specific things you just really need other people to understand.
Your talk can be serious, funny, niche, analytical, personal or creative.
You don't need previous speaking experience, an academic topic or finished slides. You can present solo or with a friend, and you definitely don't have to be an expert.
Nervous about presenting or not super confident speaking English? We're also running a relaxed support session where we can help you shape your idea, organise your slides and practise beforehand.
