UMSU After Dark: Carnival

Night two inside the Market Hall spiegeltent brings a fresh lineup of circus and sideshow acts to keep you on your toes.

The night opens with a drag clown performance, followed by a circus act from Jessica Connell and roving performers.

Don't miss Gameshow: UMSU Mastermind, where featured UMSU Clubs including Swifties' Society (Taylor's Version) and Language Exchange Club go head to head on their specialist subject for the prize, followed by a duo circus act from Aurora Flaire.

Grab a drink from the onsite bar (18+, ID required) and an $8 whole pizza while you watch. While you're there, search for the UMSU lolly jar and take a guess how many lollies in the jar to take it home, along with surprise prizes.

Over in the Amphitheatre, we have UMSU Clubs, Silent Disco (5:30–7pm), tarot reader Radha inviting you on a journey of this ancient art, a carnival hat craft station and hot drinks, with free hot chocolate for the first 100 people.

Come dressed for the occasion: carnival glamour or clown chaos, whatever feels right.

5:35pm – Archie Absinthe the Clown performance

5:55pm – Circus act performed by Jessica Connell

6:10pm – Roving performance, Archie Absinthe across the site

6:20pm – Gameshow: UMSU Mastermind

6:55pm – Duo Circus performance by Aurora Flair

7:15pm – Bollywood Club

7:25pm – Closing DJ set

A note on sustainability: For those who can, we encourage you to bring your own mugs and food containers.

This event will include alcohol service inside Market Hall and Building 168 for attendees aged 18+ only. UMSU is committed to the safe and responsible use and service of alcohol at our events.
