In ‘Translucences’, Soyo Paek works across painting and drawing to explore asemic writing, translation, and perception.
Layered gestures, charcoal, pigment, and water create translucent surfaces that hover between presence and disappearance, inviting slow, sensorial engagement with impermanence, memory, and the instability of meaning.
