Shaolin Soccer held the record for the highest-grossing film at the Hong Kong box office until 2004. It holds fourteen accolades across five different awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and more at the 21st Hong Kong film awards, and Best Picture at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards.
