When & Where

  • Date: Thursday, 2 April 2026

  • Time: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Location: PAR-104-G-G18-Flexible Learning Space (62)

The Lowdown

  • The Pitch: You have 5–7 minutes to sell us on your concept. Whether you use a lookbook, a script snippet, or just your voice, make it count! Send in your presentations to our email or just come with them on the day!

  • The Clock is Ticking: To keep things moving, any pitch exceeding the 7-minute mark will be cut off. Stay sharp and focused!

  • No Limits on Genre: We welcome everything from psychological thrillers and mockumentaries to experimental shorts and heart-wrenching dramas.

  • Club Support: Projects pitched at this event are eligible for UMFC support, including access to our equipment pool and assistance with securing venues for your shoot.

Content & Safety

We believe in creative freedom; however, we want to keep our community safe. If your pitch involves potentially triggering themes (e.g., violence, self-harm, or trauma), you must include a brief disclaimer at the start of your presentation.

Ready to take the director's chair? Come prepared to pitch, or just come to listen and find a project to join. We’ll see you there!
