Moving between contemporary Normandy and the final years of the 19th century, COLOURS OF TIME is a French drama that brings together family, history, and artistic curiosity.

When four estranged cousins inherit a long-abandoned house in Normandy, their investigation into its past gradually reveals the life of a young ancestor, Adèle (Suzanne Lindon). But as they discover that she left her native home for Paris in the late 19th century, the reunited family finds their present ways of life brought into question, forcing them to confront their memory, kinship, and personal histories.
