It’s that time again 🤩 IPEP-HSN’s Skills Expo for Semester 2 is here! We are starting the semester with the event of the year, you don’t want to miss out!
This isn’t your average sit-there-and-yawn lecture 🥱 — this is full-on hands-on learning (‼) with stations run by students from all different health disciplines. Come roll up your sleeves, pick up some practical skills, and meet new friends across the healthcare space 👩⚕️👨⚕️👂🦷👀
OH AND THE BEST PART, THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR ALL IPEP-HSN MEMBERS (membership is free too!)

- Medicine: Learn how to suture — on bananas!
- Nursing: Try your hand at finger pricks and blood pressure checks 🩸💉
- Physiotherapy: Get moving and explore practical physio skills 🏃♀️
- Audiology: Pick up an otoscope and learn how to check ears 👂
- Speech Pathology: Learn swallowing tests and bulbar cranial nerve exams 🗣️
- Dentistry: Step into the dental world with hands-on practice 🦷
- Optometry: Have a chance to look at the back of the eye 👀
- Population and Global health: Learn about the social determinants of health, intersectionality and health promotion
