If you'd like to learn more about Pinot Noir, or just sample the diversity of what this beautiful grape can do, we have the Masterclass event for you!

Pinot Noir, the noble grape known alongside its sister Chardonnay in Champagne, is delicate but expressive. The perfect lover. But be careful, you cannot treat this grape like a gigolo's old Mediterranean hanger-on. No, Pinot Noir is the Prince of Wine. A French one. Like Louis XVI, that guy drank Burgundy for breakfast – no wonder they cut off his head.

Arnold's Wine Bar in Kensington has kindly agreed to once again host our bi-annual Masterclass, just 2 kilometres from the University. The Masterclass will be hosted by our very own Education Officer, Caterina Misale, who has planned the Wine Society's educational components since 2022 and has worked in specialty wine retail and dining throughout Melbourne. Be quick on this one, our masterclass tickets are strictly limited and sell out very quickly!

Your ticket includes 8 wines, charcuterie, and the pleasure of education. Please eat dinner prior to arrival and drink plenty of water. We don’t want you ending up like poor Louis XVI, for we have no chambermaids to clean up after you.

No prior knowledge about wine required. Tickets available from 08/04 for members and 10/04 for general release.

This event is open to students aged 18+ from all disciplines and years. Tickets for this event are strictly capped at 25. Please make sure you are well fed before the event. This event is hosted at a licensed venue and observes the responsible service of alcohol (RSA). Ensure you bring ID.
