Our adventures in the vegetality of time are just beginning…as always in the middle,
In medias res…
 - Michael Marder

An experimental environment in which human bodies, vegetal matter, time and the process of decay participate in the generation of choreographic knowledge.

Still, Nature is a durational installation and performance taking place at the George Paton Gallery on Friday, 30 October from 1pm to 4pm. Drop in to experience the installation, no RSVPs required.

Created by Gregory Lorenzutti (UMSU AIR 2026) in collaboration with the VCA Dance Choreography as Research cohort, the work reimagines the traditional gallery plinth as a site of cohabitation between human performers and decaying vegetal matter. Through a sensorial inquiry into “plant time,” the installation challenges the perceived stillness of exhibition spaces, inviting a corporeal conversation with processes of wilting, decay and metamorphosis.
