Soil and Plant Society
🌱🫙 Come learn how to propagate your house plants!
🧐 Propagation is the reproduction of a plant by natural or artificial means.
✂️ The method of ‘cutting’ involves removing a part of the root, stem or leaf of the parent plant and replanting it in soil or water!
🙌 Benefits of Propagating:
-
Save money by growing new plants from your current plants rather than buying new ones!
-
Preserve the parent plant's characteristics!
-
Plants from cuttings flower & mature faster than from seeds!
