The international order is undergoing significant transformation as global economic disruptions continue to challenge existing systems of governance and cooperation. From financial instability and supply chain disruptions to technological change and shifting geopolitical dynamics, states and institutions are increasingly confronted with complex challenges that transcend national borders. These disruptions raise critical questions about the resilience of the current international order.
This event brings together students to critically examine how global governance is responding to economic uncertainty and disruption. Through a relaxed and interactive roundtable discussion, participants will be divided into smaller groups to engage in deeper conversations and explore diverse perspectives. Each group will then share their key insights with the wider audience, fostering collective reflection and discussion.
