Come and join us on a return V/Line trip to Ballarat, to visit the Ballarat Tramway Museum and see the beautiful Lake Wendouree in a day trip excursion along with fellow transportation enthusiasts. This trip is a great opportunity to meet and socialise with like-minded people while at the same time exploring a city 100km away.

While we are in Ballarat, we will visit a Shopping Center where you can buy and eat lunch, and then we will walk through the Botanic Gardens and visit the Ballarat Tramway Museum.

Please meet at Southern Cross Station at 9:30am for a 10am departure, the scheduled return time is 5:32pm. This trip is entirely in the myki zone so make sure you have a valid fare. Booking with us, however is required, as we are getting exclusive access to the Tramway Museum. Tickets are FREE for student members, $5 for associate members and $10 for non-students. This is less than usual admission to the Tramway Museum, and includes unlimited tram rides, a tour of the museum and (volunteer availability permitting) a guided tour of the Tramway Museum's workshops. After buying your ticket please ensure you fill out the google form emailed to you with your receipt.
