In early October, Melbourne surf-Rock band The Grogans released their debut album Just What You Want. It’s the album you didn’t know you needed.

The three-piece band began jamming during high school, where they met in 2016—drawing upon influences from different genres: their sound features driving grunge guitars, hints of laid-back blues and reggae rhythms. With only two guitarists and a drummer —and no bassist— this band is unconventional.

The band performed their new song ‘No Sleep’ at a single launch in late September. This song is an instant hit and I am excited to see where this band goes in the future.

The band is going on their first National Tour of Australia to promote their new album — so make sure to catch them at their upcoming gigs! Here is a list of their tour:

Alexa Chung and Alex Turner have just broken up. His love letter has been leaked and Tumblr is raving about it—”my mouth hasn’t shut up about you since you kissed it.” Poetry at its peak: romance is alive.
