Within the backdrop of significant changes and reforms made to our planning system and design codes, including the updated ResCode Clause 55, the Activity Centres Program, and SRL East Precinct Planning, intense discourse has arisen within both professional practice and academic circles regarding whether these changes maintain the right balance between neighbourhood amenity, good design, equity, sustainability, public participation and housing provision.
