Arnold's Wine Bar
Wine Society
One of Italy’s finest grapes, Nebbiolo is the best of both worlds with its delicate, perfumed aromas and its highly tannic structure. There is much to love and discover from this Italian Stallion, that finds its home not just in Italy but also here in Australia.
This semester, the Wine Society presents the second event in our Masterclass Series! Join us to explore the graceful but powerful grape, Nebbiolo.
This event will journey through 6 different styles of Nebbiolo, in a more structured and educational format than our social tasting events. But no prior knowledge is required! This event is perfect for wine beginners and wine connoisseurs alike. Please join us for this one-of-a-kind tasting is that is not to be missed.
We are thankful to return to Arnold’s Wine Bar in Kensington (just 2 kilometres from the University, easily accessible via public transport) who will be privately hosting the event. The Masterclass will be hosted by our very own committee member, Caterina, who has planned many of the Wine Society's educational components since 2022 and has worked in specialty wine retail and dining throughout for several years throughout Melbourne.
No prior knowledge about wine required. Tickets available from 08/08 for members and 11/08 for general release.
This event is open to students aged 18+ from all disciplines and years. Tickets for this event are strictly capped at 20. Please make sure you are well fed before the event. This event is hosted at a licensed venue and observes the responsible service of alcohol (RSA). Ensure you bring ID.
