Hi WiSE members, 

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Special General Meeting (SGM)! This is a great opportunity to get involved and run for a committee position.

We’re holding elections to vote for Vice President, 1 Promotions Officer, and 2 Industry Liaisons to help bring exciting opportunities to our members. ❗️Note: The term for these roles ends at the AGM in late September, where the 2026 committee will be elected. 

Vice President 

• Support the President and help lead WiSE’s direction 

• Co-lead planning and execution of events 

• Collaborate with the exec team on organisational strategy 

Promotions Officer 

• Promote WiSE events and manage social media 

• Design graphics, posters, and promotional content 

• Develop outreach campaigns to boost engagement 

Industry Liaison 

• Secure sponsorships and maintain industry connections 

• Coordinate sponsor presence at WiSE events 

• Manage professional communication with sponsors
