WiSE Wellbeing Lab is a three-week wellbeing series designed to empower women and non-binary students in STEMM through hands-on, identity-affirming experiences. Each week focuses on a different aspect of wellbeing — physical health, mental clarity, and social connection — and aligns with the Health Promotion Program’s pillars: Healthier Minds, Healthier Bodies, and Healthier Communities.
Nourish the Body – Breathe with WiSE
Participants: 20-30 students
Location: Market Hall, Building 189
Activities:

Students will attend a 1-hour gentle yoga flow to melt stress and anxiety, followed by 30 minutes of mindfulness session to ground your mind and body.

Practices will include gentle stretching, breathing exercises for stress management, and short meditations.

Students will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and peer connection.
This is an amazing opportunity to move your body and de-stress!
The event is completely free and there will be free food and drinks to enjoy. Your health and wellbeing is so important to us at WiSE, we strongly believe that events like these are crucial to ensuring that our members can enjoy university life to the fullest.
