Come along for a volunteer planting day with the Friends of Herring Island! This includes a ferry ride over to this picturesque island in the Yarra, a sculpture tour of the island and plenty of planting and weeding! 🌳
As the ferry only runs at the start and end of the day, make sure you bring lunch, morning tea and a drink bottle. If you have your own gloves, trowel, etc. please also bring these along, although there will be spares to go around.
SAPS committee will meet you either at the Parks Victoria Burnley Depot (https://maps.app.goo.gl/f2HkRz1DNVkhdRUV6?g_st=ipc) or Como Landing (https://maps.app.goo.gl/s5ruwJA5L4hBkUKJ8?g_st=ipc) at 10:20am to catch the ferry for departure at 10:30.
