Misdemeanours is an exhibition that explores small, seemingly insignificant acts of transgression in our daily lives. Misdemeanours sheds light on the subtle ways we challenge societal norms and expectations through artistic intervention. Through a diverse range of mediums, including video, sculpture, performance and interactive installations, this exhibition encourages reflection, dialogue, and personal introspection. Misdemeanours challenges us to question the boundaries we navigate daily, reminding us that even the smallest acts of transgression can ignite profound shifts in perception and understanding. Misdemeanours has been developed by University of Melbourne students who participated in the BLOP BLOP BLOP curatorial intensive led by artist Lilly Skipper.
